Class Policies

Class Registration:

  • A registration form must be completed by ALL students (new or continuing) in order to register for a class series.
  • Class space will only be reserved with a completed registration form and full payment for the series.
  • Payment is due on or before the first class unless other arrangements are made PRIOR to the first class.
  • We accept credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, cash or check for payment. Card must be presented for payment.
  • Continuing students will have priority in being registered for upcoming classes.
  • Late registration is permitted if the class is not full. The cost for the series will be determined according to which week registration occurs.
  • Classes are based on having 4 paid in full registrations and are subject to cancellation.

Cancellations, refunds and credits:

  • Once payment is received, it is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Please contact Suzy or Zoe for cancellation and credit/refund requests. These will be handled on an individual basis.
  • In the event you would need to cancel your registration prior to the first class, cash refunds are not guaranteed and a $20 administrative fee will be deducted.
  • Cancellations are figured based on when the request is made, not based on the last class attended.
  • Credits will not be given for missed classes unless you have a valid medical reason.

Proration requests:

  • We will only be prorating for requests made prior to the first class of the session and only for absences of 4 or more consecutive classes.
  • The proration policy for a planned absence of 4 or more consecutive classes will be based on how many classes per week you are registered for. The exact amount will be determined by your instructor at the beginning of the session.
  • All other missed classes may be made up during the current session only.
  • You are welcome to use the drop-in rate if you choose not to commit for a full session. Please note that drop-in space may be limited and a bike is not guaranteed. It is best to contact us ahead of time, especially for spin classes

Make-Ups:

  • You are allowed and encouraged to make up any missed classes! Classes that are missed or that you know you will be missing can be made up during the current series only.
  • You may come to any other class on the schedule, space permitting. (Saturday classes are the exception since they are drop-in classes.)
  • Please check with the instructor prior to class to make sure there is a bike available if attending a spin class.
  • Missed classes cannot be transferred to another person or carried over to a future series.

Drop-Ins/Trial Classes:

  • If you have been “dropping in” to classes on a consistent basis previously, please talk to one of us prior to the first class to make arrangements to come as a drop-in.
  • Any new student who would like to drop-in for a Trial Class may do so. The first class is free of charge.
  • The drop-in fee is $18/60 minute class, $20/75-min or $25/85-min, based on availability of a bike.

Remember that taking private sessions with Suzy or Zoe is always an option. Privates will be arranged based on your needs and your goals. You can use an individual session to work on advancing your practice, address specific injuries and physical conditions, or to learn more about Pilates principles, and/or breathing. Or if there is not a class time that works for you, setting up a private or semi-private (2+ people) is an option depending on scheduling, etc. Currently the fees for private and semi-private classes are:

1 person
$70/hour with Suzy $55/55-minutes with Zoe
$50/45-minutes $45/45-minutes
$40/30-minutes $35/30 minutes

2 people $60/hour per person

3 people $50/hour per person

Please let us know if you are interested in arranging a private session.

Clothing, Props and Eating:
These guidelines are important to create and support an optimal experience for you and everyone around you.

It's best to wear comfortable clothes to class: t-shirts, shorts, tights or leggings. Please turn off cell phones before class or leave them at home or in your car.
It's best to eat something light before coming to class, especially a spin class. That said; please honor your body and any health conditions you may have.
All mats and props are supplied. You can bring your own mat if you choose and/or a bottle of water.
